Located in Petenwell Lake, this charming house for $651 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. ONLY 35 minutes from Sand Valley world class golf course and only 45 minutes from the dells. Large 4 bedroom, 5 bath home located on Lake Petenwell. Enjoy your coffee on the deck each morning watching the sun rise over the lake. The home is 100 feet from the pier and shoreline. The beach is a short 300 yard walk down a well-maintained trail along the lake shore. The home has a master bedroom with its own bath with a king bed. Also featured on the main floor is a guest bedroom with a queen bed, bunk beds and its own bath. There are two enormous bedrooms upstairs and a full bath. The north bedroom includes 2 queen beds, bunk beds, and a crib. The south bedroom includes one king, one queen bed, bunk beds and a crib. The upstairs also includes a loft with Sectional couch and TV. Plenty of room for your entire family and grandchildren to sleep after a fun-filled day at the lake. The kitchen, living room and laundry are on the main floor. The finished basement includes a second kitchen, full bath, projector TV, pool table, ping pong table and foosball table. Plenty to do indoors during bad weather. The back of the home has a beautiful view of the lake. A nice deck with a grill, table, love seat and chairs. The back yard offers plenty of room for outdoor games or you can enjoy the swing set, trampoline, or the 6-person hot tub. There is a custom-built fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs to enjoy the stars and roast some marshmallows. A 16x32x4 feet above ground pool has been added. Right now there is only a ladder to the pool. The front of the home has a covered front porch with a table, chairs, and love seat to sit quietly and enjoy the sun set. If you have more energy, you could play basketball on the cement driveway. The home sits on Lake Petenwell shoreline, the 2nd largest lake in Wisconsin. There is a nice beach area just a few hundred yards down the trail where you can set up beach chairs and take a dip. This is a sand bottom lake where you can easily enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and other water sports. There is a well-maintained public trail that runs along the shoreline where you can enjoy a hike. Several golf courses are in the area within a 30-45 min drive. The east side of Lake Petenwell has several bars and restaurants you can boat to or drive to. There are two boat launches nearby. You can rent a boat slip on the east side of the lake near Adams County Campground or at the Lure bar. Boats cannot be tied to our pier. For short stays during the day the boat can be beached.

This house was ideal and perfectly comfortable for our 17-person group from 3 families. Though the beach (about a 400 yard walk away) is minimal, the spacious yard with pool, trampoline, play set, basketball hoop, and fire pit was ideal for keeping the kids entertained. The owners are very nice (and were staying nearby) and responsive.

Kind, courteous owners with a beautiful, clean and spacious home. We looked forward to a larger beach area, but the backyard swimming pool and other activities both inside & outside of the house helped keep our families entertained and engaged with each other for our small reunion. We all had a very nice time.
