About this house rental
(FREE NIGHT : For those interested in the Christmas Week 2026, Saturday - Saturday, 12/26 - 1/2/27, happy to extend a FREE NIGHT, 1/2/27 with a late departure on Sunday 1/3/27, 5pm, if you would like to enjoy another day of skiing or just hanging out.)
As a family vacation home since 1978, we finally moved to Warren full time in 2015 and built this guest house / detached garage apartment so family & friends could stay too. The home, off a paved road, is totally secluded, and mere minutes to town, Sugarbush, Mt. Ellen and Mad River Glen ski resorts, the Lincoln Gap sled run, Ole’s and Bluberry Lake Cross Country Ski Centers, the Skatium and area restaurants.

The 1,000 sq/ft two bedroom apartment, has plenty of room for a family of four with an open floor plan that includes a full kitchen, dining nook, seating area with a flat screen TV/Roku/Netflix and fiber optic wifi internet. The mountain view spans the length of the space from the kitchen to the primary bedroom. The bathroom has a full size stacked clothes washer and dryer and a roomy stand up shower.
The Outside Space: Cross country skiing, snow shoeing and sledding is permitted around the entire meadow. The sledding hill can be groomed, time and snow permitting, please advise your desire to sled when booking. Happy to provide some sleds / snow tubes and can loan a pair of men's and women's snowshoes, sorry we do not have children's sizes but rentals are available in town. Conditions permitting, I groom a 1/4 mile sled run on an old unused town road next to the property. It's not too fast but it is a long ride; the challenge is to see if you can make it the entire length. Motorized transportation back up the hill a possibility with advanced notice. (mini cat or snowmobile tow)
Skis may be stored in the garage with entry through the garage door if desired.

Access to the entire apartment plus access to the stream via a logging road. For safety reasons, be sure to ask if any ice bridge crossings are safe before accessing the property on the other side.
