Our hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need for our week, and I mean everything! We even had foil, cling film and kitchen roll supplied! We cooked from scratch a couple of nights and found we had everything we would have had at home to make our meals. The location was excellent - Eyam is a lovely village and very close to other great towns, transport links and excellent walking spots.
Can't be helped, but my mid sized car was too big for the parking space. We never had any trouble finding a spot on the road nearby though and we did manage to leave the car there for a short time to unload. We saw lots of vans and minibuses going down the lane during our stay, so glad we moved it as the front end was sticking out! The cottage is a little dark but the lighting is ample and the living room is very cosy in the evenings. Its also slightly damp, due to the nature of the building and its surroundings, but the weather was fairly good during our stay so we had the windows open which helped a lot. The place was very clean, but the sealant around the bath probably could do with a refresh, due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom. It's clear though that everything that can be done has been done to mitigate these issues, it's just the nature of the building and it's location, so we totally understood.

Wonderful cottage in the heart of Eyam, the plague village in Derbyshire.
1 room with double bed, 1room with 2 single beds, 1 room with 1 single bed.
Extremely well equipped with kitchen items, games, books, DVDs. All bedding and towels supplied.
A small lawn and a (small) place to park your car.
Amazing location just a few steps from the main street of the village.
I can't think of anything we didn't like.
