Our nine night stay at this villa was part of a very special family occasion, as we had travelled to Spain for a destination wedding. There were seven of us staying there, including the bride, so it felt like our family home during such a memorable time.
From the moment we arrived, we loved how spacious, bright, private, and spotless it was. The views from the terraces were absolutely amazing, with the surrounding hills, the sea visible in the distance, and beautiful views overlooking the area below. At night, seeing all the lights twinkling in the distance made the view even more special. During our stay, family and friends who had travelled for the wedding from different parts of the world came to visit us at the villa during the day, and there was always plenty of room to welcome everyone for meals and time together. We also really enjoyed the board games and books provided, which made our evenings together even more fun.
What stood out most was how well equipped the villa was. After nine nights, we honestly never felt anything was missing. The kitchen had everything. Appliances, pots and pans, oven and cooking utensils, plenty of dishes and glasses, plus basics like oil and seasonings. There were even separate plastic plates and cups for use around the pool, which was so thoughtful. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean, with lovely bathrooms and showers, and there were plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. The air conditioning throughout the villa, including all bedrooms, was an absolute lifesaver in the hot weather we had and kept us really comfortable. There were also plenty of fans provided. The gated pool area was fantastic, very well kept, with enough sun beds, inflatables, and even pool toys provided. The table tennis was also a big hit with the teenagers and the adults. Parking was easy with a large private driveway and space for several cars.

Great house with all facilities. Great pool-area and lots of space for 8 people.
Superb with garage-parking for 2 cars.
The property is in the hills close to Mijas Pueblo. One would need a car to get quick access to the beach and urban areas.

The villa is amazing, it is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. Excellent facilities, especially the pool, kitchen appliances and BBQ. We are a family of 8 and had plenty of space, there are games and pool toys for the kids - they had a ball. Very close to Mijas Pueblo and just a short drive to Fuengirola and other tows along the coast. Paul was an excellent host, very responsive and clear.
We couldn't fault Casa Montelado, it exceeded expectations and had everything we needed.
