The Makaha Valley Towers is located about 35 minutes from the Honolulu Airport and 45 minutes from Waikiki Beach. The Makaha Valley Towers boasts resort-style living with a beautiful swimming pool, barbecue area, and championship 18-hole golf course (Makaha Country Club) right next door. Located just one-and-one-half miles (long walk, short jog, or quick ride) to the beautiful, uncrowded, and world-famous Makaha surfing beach which is perfect for swimming, surfing, tanning, and relaxing. Up the road about five miles, there is also Kaena State Park which is another very beautiful uncrowded beach with great hiking trails along the ocean. You can hike two-and-one-half miles to Kaena Point or the entire five miles to the North Shore of Oahu. Another nearby attraction (eight miles) is JW Marriott's Ko Olina Resort and Disney's new Aulani Resort which has five man-made lagoons and is an excellent place to swim, snorkel, and relax for the whole family. It is also home to Paradise Cove Luau which is the best luau that I have been to on all the islands!
