For the price, this hotel is definitely worth it. The staff are really helpful, though communication is difficult due to language barriers. They still tried their best to understand and help. I truly enjoyed the days spent at this hotel.
Here are a few areas that need improvement, particularly cleanliness. The sofa was dirty, the mattress had stains, the refrigerator was dirty, and the walls were unclean. These are important issues that should be addressed. Cleanliness is very important, as it greatly affects comfort and makes the stay more pleasant.

For the price it's good value if you just want somewhere to rest your head regardless of location. The air-conditioning was good and extremely cold but I couldn't seem to change the setting to take it off icey. I like that but i can see that being a problem for some people. The shower was good and worked well with good water pressure. For $21 aud you really can't complain too much (watch me proceed to complain about some stuff haha).
The staff weren't particularly friendly (there was a young guy there that was quite nice though). There was no fridge, the window was taped over. Very bare bones basics.
You are nowhere near the thick of it so if you are wanting to use this place as a launching pad for getting into the main parts of the City then expect to pay a bit more for travel into town.
One thing I was really pissed off at was that there was an incident where I was on the toilet and I heard the door buzzer go. I yelled out that i was on the toilet. One of the staff used a swipe card to try and get in but thankfully I'd latched the door so he couldn't open it. I quickly finished up and opened the door half naked to find the staff member there with two cops. One of them could speak English and asked me for my passport and proceeded to instigate the Spanish Inquisition. They eventually moved on but I was given no explanation or apology from the staff of why this happened or why this guy just barged into my room.
