Lovely well kept house with great amenities. Nice welcome gift and a fantastic kitchen area for eating and gathering. We also particularly enjoyed the table tennis table and the well kept hot tub. The whisky offering was also much appreciated and the pictures of the local landmarks, in the hallway, was a very nice touch.
I slept in the downstairs bedroom and felt that the bed was a little soft. As it was warm in the evenings we also had the windows open and there was a fair bit of noise from the road given the proximity of the house to it.

Great location, close to Aberdeen, lots of places that can be reached on foot. Great jacuzzi (bathrobes provided!!!). Very stylish interior. Coal barbecue. Even welcome decanter with some whisky! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in Scotland.
We wanted to ask if we could check out 30 min later but we haven’t received any answer from the Sykes cottages whatsapp customer service at all. I wonder what should we do if we had an urgent inquiry.
