So much space in this lovely house, perfect for a group. Plenty of firewood provided, lovely fire heated the house. Nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, enough seating for a group, thanks for a great stay! Lovely outlook through the trees.
BYO body wash/shampoo and conditioner.
I’d seen a lot of negative comments about the driveway, but it’s fine. It is too sharp of an angle to easily turn down to Hyams Beach, but there’s a roundabout just up the hill, so it’s easy to go up and turn around.

The house itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed was spotless and comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, it had the potential to be a very pleasant and easy visit.
Communication with the owner was poor. We were given the wrong door code and had to wait outside in the cold until we finally received the correct one. Even more frustrating was the heating situation. The only source of warmth was a combustion heater in the lounge, which would have been fine—except there was no wood. I was told wood had been delivered the day before, but none was available at the house. I followed up again but received no response.
With temperatures dropping to 4°C at night, we were left scrambling for scraps of wood and kindling, which was unacceptable. It’s a shame because the house itself was great, but the lack of support and heating made the stay far less enjoyable than it could have been.
