This apartment offers the best of both worlds: Tranquility, as well as close proximity to the amenities which Zell am See has to offer. The central ski lifts (mountain cableway cityXpress) are only a 5-minute walk away, various shops and restaurants in the city center are right on your door step.
This apartment is furnished with contemporary Austrian fittings and boasts a large, wrap-around balcony facing south-east, as well as a cozy little garden.

The location is really great with a sweeping view from the balcony. We enjoyed our coffee and evening drinks here every night. The views were extraordinary when the full moon was out and the clouds were pink during sunset. The road up to the place was an incline so that is something to consider if you don't have a car or have mobility issues. We are in our 70s, and we were able to do it with a nice, steady pace. Also, there are steps up to the apartment and inside the apartment to get to the main floor. We managed just fine.The downstairs part (where you come in) has two bedrooms and a detached bathroom . The upstairs part where the kitchen, living room, dining area and veranda has one room with a small detached bathroom. The kitchen is nice and it has a drawer filled with beer steins! Nice dining area too. We thought it was perfect for our 4 nights. They give you one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for your entire stay so make sure you prepare for this. We also purchased napkins, paper towels, salt and pepper. There are stores nearby to get your supplies. They provide lots of dishwasher cubes. There is a washer in the unit, and this was very convenient since we had already been traveling for days. It is a washer that also dries. We couldn't find instructions but we were able to google this. Make sure you dry things in small amounts. It was nice to wash our clothes. Bring your own detergent.Enjoy the veranda!

Check in was smooth. The key box outside was helpful as we had people doing different activities so leave key in box for ease of in and out for all.Multiple levels for sleeping was good,the stairs up to kitchen, living room and another bedroom are good and not narrow. The kitchen was well equipped. If you're going be sure to take your own toilet paper. When we arrived there was a half roll in each bathroom. With 6 adults that was not enough for the first night! Getting up to the apartment is a fairly steep climb but magnificent views. The town of Zell am See is so pretty with a walk around the lake a easy walk from apartment.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with great views from the balcony. Fantastic location, quiet but within a few minutes walk to the centre of Zell am See.

We stayed 6 nights in Zell in mid June. We hiked, swam and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The apartment is very nice and close to everything in town. Extra shoutout to Sara at Alpen Apartments , who answered all our questions very quickly.
