Very good place

Back door was hard to lock

The apartment stands out for furnishing and cleanliness, in this respect it's more like a home than a tourist unit. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, nice little living with fireplace.

There's little daylight in the kitchen. Traffic noise is noticeable as cars are accelerating there although after 11 PM it quites down. Parking is not really suitable for a large car, our Opel Mokka was on the border.

The property is lovely and very clean, location was brilliant. I had the master bedroom which was light airy and very spacious, with a toilet, an extra shower would of helped ( especially if 6 of you were staying ) the other two bedrooms are quite dark and limited to space and storage, should you be staying for longer than a couple of days and especially if two people would be sharing a bedroom. A loved the lay out of the house and it has a wood burner which would make it very cosy in the winter and a little sun terrace for the summer. Bonus of parking space outside your door. The utility room was brilliant after a days hiking. Should I return to Northumberland I would stay again but definitely no more than 4 adults and it’s not really suitable for young children.

The initial smell as you walked in the front door and I personally struggled with the road noise at times as where I live is very isolated. Not having more than one bathroom.

Beautifully decorated- so many toilets and the little touches (like the lights switches) were impeccable! Had everything we needed & perfect for our family of 5.

Master bed could have had little more padding but we are used to lots of fluff 😂.
