I'd give 15** if I could! We loved this warm, welcoming holiday home. Both beds were soooo comfy, soft sheets, great pillows. Welcome basket was a very lovely touch. Big, deep tub with strong shower. Very clean and well-appointed. Kitchen is huge and well-stocked. I appreciated laundry tablets! Fantastic location -- only a few minutes' walk to the Abbey and to Queen's Hall. Great restaurants nearby. (We particularly liked Stalina Greek Taverna, just around the corner from the flat.) We will definitely return!
Flat was initially hard to find. Didn't help that Google Maps kept directing us further up the street. Eastgate Townhomes uses an online thing for communication that requires guests to constantly click through to essential info (e.g., the lockbox code)...which I found challenging while in a foreign country with spotty wifi and limited data. However, the manager responded quickly to my What's App texts asking for the lockbox code and directions.
Note: The flat is the second building on the right as you turn onto Eastgate...across from the pottery place. The door to #7 does not face the road, so look for #5.

Great location, good standard of accommodation.
Parking space is small but we have a mini so not an issue for us.

Location was perfect for immediate access to the centre of Hexham. Property was immaculate with everything you’d need for a self catering stay.
No outside area.
