Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!

We had a wonderful time at Isla Holbox, this is my 3rd trip, and one of my favorite warm holiday spots! This time, I was with my two grandchildren, they loved staying at the fabulous home. The photos are very realistic, and the home is gorgeous, clean, quiet, safe and beautifully decorated. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the bed pillows. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows could use a refresh. Don't let that stop you from staying here - it was a 9.999 out of 10!

The house was clean and spacious. The host was very responsive and communications were smooth. They were able to accommodate our requests and gave good recommendations on restaurants. The only caveat is that it’s a little secluded but overall is safe. We use taxis everywhere on the island and it’s not expensive especially when split with others. The rooftop pool is quite nice. The third bedroom is on the terrace where the pool is. Because it’s on the high floor, it’s a little Warmer. I wish they put a bed and not use the two pullout futon as a single king bed. It wasn’t bad but it was not comfortable.
