Great for your first or last stay in Sao Tome

The rooms are really big and comfy. So if you are travelling with a big group, you can stay here, for the first or last days of your trip Clean beds, tidy rooms (always you will find a bug, but it' normal there), clean toilets and a nice pool. Also some rooms, are coming with a fridge and small kitchen. Airport picku, 20 eur

It's quite far away from the city, so if you are coming for the first time, you can get lot, but maps.me and google maps, has this place there. The breakfast could be richer, but was ok. Beware, you can have some electricity issues (black outs) due to local problem, so always, charge your powerbank if you can.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had

The rooms were big and there was ample space.

I arrived and gained access to the property with a group of friends without incident. However, just after arriving, the owner called us to inform us that he had cameras throughout the property, and he claimed that we had more adults than were listed on the reservation. This was patently untrue, and he eventually realized he was confusing us with a different property. The whole time, a woman was staring at us awkwardly and watching videos on her phone. We tried to pay repeatedly but were rebuffed. The next morning, we had no water, so contacted the host. The same woman mentioned above came to the property, was extremely rude and abusive, and took four hours to fix the water. We left with the water still not fixed, then when we got WiFi access again at 6 PM, we got a message ordering us to vacate the premises immediately. We did so, with the woman yelling at us as we were packing, and as we were driving off, the woman followed us in her vehicle quite a ways until we hid and she lost us. Finally, the place was quite dirty, and looked to not have been cleaned in months--for instance, the hot water kettle was full of dead bugs. The bed was also lumpy and had hard plastic sheets, and the wifi was almost unusable. Overall, I cannot recommend staying here under any circumstances, we ended up at a much nicer hotel that was only marginally more expensive and (most importantly) hassle-free.

Hotel from hell

We arrive and checked in, only to immediately have a phone call from the owner telling us that we were more people than our booking, after a significant amount of time (long enough that it ruined our evening) he told us he was looking at the wrong security cameras (yes, he was creepily watching us through cameras) and that another booking at one of his other properties were in fact the group who were trying to take more guests into the accommodation than they had booked for. No apologies for the hours wasted, but we continued our trip. We then learned that the property did not have running water. The next morning, as we didn’t want to spend more of the evening dealing with this man, we informed the accommodation we had no water. The lady who came, was rude, abusive and downright creepy. Finally, water was restored after 4 hours. A morning now ruined.

We finally headed out to explore Sao Tome. We returned to the accommodation to find the same woman weirdly waiting for us in the dark and when we got onto the internet found an abusive message from the owner of the property asking us to immediately leave. Regardless of how disgusting this was, we of course left, because we already felt extremely uncomfortable in this place. The previous night we had tried to pay multiple times during the whole debacle with how many people we were (I state this because as we were being run out of the accommodation by the abusive woman who was yelling and screaming, we didn’t end up paying for the property, and the owner will no doubt bring this up and try and make it seem like we tried to leave without paying). Looking back at reviews, I can see previous guests have had issues with this extremely aggressive owner, and you can see his replies, which I’m annoyed at myself for not seeing when making this booking. No doubt he will reply with the same abuse and incoherent statements. I’ve also since learned that some of our belongings are missing. Do not stay here unless you enjoy chaos and abuse. Even one of the staff members, the only nice one, said this was ridiculous and he was disgusted by his new boss’s behaviour.

Great value and helpful staff.

The location is a bit impractical. You have to take a decent walk to get into the main city.

Es tracta d'una casa amb habitacions i cuina compartida a la primera planta. Jo em vaig allotjar a l'apartament situat a la planta baixa amb bany i cuina privada. Tot molt net i confortable. Situat en una zona tranquil·la a deu minuts en cotxe del centre de Sao Tomé. La piscina va ser molt agradable

Un bon petit déjeuner et un lit confortable. L'hôtesse Dania fait le maximum pour que tout se passe bien. La petite piscine, bien propre est appréciable. Un générateur très utile car pas mal de coupures d'électricité et donc d'eau.

L'emplacement est moyen, un peu loin du centre .

C’est plus un souci général que particulier à l’établissement, l’accès à l’électricité mais l’établissement fait l’effort avec un groupe électrogène

Que té piscina, i el lavabo tenia aigua calenta.

Al llit individual faltava una mosquitera, la vam demanar i no va arribar. Al sostre faltava una placa sencera i per allà podria entrar qualsevol cosa. Hi havia una cosa que va fer soroll tota la nit que no sabem què era però no ens va deixar dormir. El carrer per arribar és horrorós per fer amb el cotxe, els taxis no saben arribar-hi. Està lluny del centre.
