Breakfast was amazing! A lot of very nice food .

The photos on booking are not exactly true. There’s two floors : downstairs is old upstairs newly renovated. We thought we booked a new room but not. There is no sign outside, which makes you feel like it might be a scam at the beginning. It has no reception. A lady comes every now and then, but no one stays at night. We were the only guests and stayed alone in the old house. Quite scary. It’s not a hotel or hostal is more like a guest house , and old house were you can book rooms.

Lovely comfortable hostel in a fantastic location

Fantastic location, beautiful building, Ximena was so gracious and patient with our bad Spanish. Comfortable beds, excellent for someone on a budget.

Room was a little sparse, shower pressure was weak, and there was no shade on the top terrace. Breakfast was nothing exciting, coffee was instant, filter would be better. Very hilly, and two flights of stairs inside.

Great city and a guesthouse to match the funky, artistic vibe of the Valparaiso.

This quirky guesthouse is in a residential neighbourhood. The rooms on the top floor have ensuite bathrooms. The rooms on the lower floor have private bathrooms down the hall from the sleeping accommodation. There is a patio off the upper storey and a fridge accessible for all guests (handy for chilling delicious Chilean wine). The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff were very helpful. Well located for venturing out to explore Valparaiso, this guesthouse was lovely.

Great find in Valparaiso

The location was excellent & the room & bathroom were lovely & clean. Breakfast was a delight.

They need signage outside, found it difficult to find. The bottles in the shower need labelling, it was all a bit pot luck!

Great hostal/guesthouse in the hillside streets near cafes and shops.

Clean, bright and simple.

You must know the address as there is no signage at all.

Exceptional

The room was basic, but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

It's an old house so sound travels easily, but compared to other places it's not bad.

Great location and room as depicted. Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here.

No signage on the exterior door. We arrived at the time we stated we would ahead of time, but when we rang the bell and knocked on the door, there was no answer. We weren’t sure if we had the correct place or how to enter. We ended up having to leave and find a cafe with wifi to message the property to get access. A frustrating start to the stay at the property. Once we were given access (30 min later), the property worked great for us, but not a great first impression.

Lovely place in nice area

Great location in nice and lively neighbourhood within walking distance, quiet street, great view. Very friendly and helpful owner. Delicious breakfast.

The location was great. Close to the Ascensor Reina Victoria and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was good and the bed was very comfortable.

Would stay again - great area and place!

The site is conveniently located in Cerro Alegre with a street in front which is easy to park in case you drive. The house is really beautiful and the rooms very comfortable, clean, and airy, as shown in the photos. The breakfast was great and Javiera was an amazing host! I would stay again. Also loved the public courtyard and used it :)

Superb

Overall had an amazing experience! The host was very welcoming and kind enough to let us leave our bags even after checking out. Absolutely loved the view from our breakfast table too :)

The guest house was a little difficult to find upon arrival. Having a sign of some sort could help future guests :)

Guest house on the hill

Hemana was very helpful, her breakfasts were great and she made our stay very enjoyable. The guest house has a perfect location. Your within walking distance of everything.

It could use a resident cat.

Great place to get stranded

Beds were very comfortable and linen was crisp and clean. Breakfast was lovely and the courtyard was great place to hang out. Would have been a good location if everything hadn’t been closed because of Covid 19

Great owners, very friendly and helpful people. Brilliant breakfasts.

Could do with a sign on the outside of the building, to help you know your in the right place! But apart from that ideal place to stay and i couldn't fault it.
