Situated just a half mile from Lake Geneva and downtown Williams Bay, this wonderful home offers a prime location and accommodations for 6, ensuring a memorable getaway for you and your loved ones. -- THE PROPERTY -- Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Living Area: Queen Pullout Bed | Additional Sleeping: Queen Aero Bed (available upon request) Nestled on a corner lot, this lovely home is surrounded by vibrant plantings and a magnolia tree that will invite you right up to the front door. Built in the 1950’s, this charming home boasts 1,372 square feet of tastefully decorated living space. Original hardwood floors, built ins for furnishings, and arched doorways lead you through each welcoming room. Make yourself at home in one of the comfortable living areas. Whether you curl up on one of the couches next to the decorative fireplace in the front living room, or lounge around on the plush chair while watching the cable TV in the second living area, you’ll feel completely relaxed throughout your stay. Beside the second living room, a dining table offers seating for 6 to enjoy the tasty meals that the chef of the group prepares in the kitchen. With ample counterspace and all of the necessary cooking appliances, this fully equipped kitchen truly has everything you need to whip up your favorite recipes. Travel downstairs to the open basement, where there is a usable extra toilet and a free-standing shower. When you’re in need of a good night’s rest, make your way to one of the bedroom’s plush queen-sized beds or slip into the queen-sized pullout bed in the living area for a peaceful slumber. -- THE LOCATION -- Since this home is located just a half mile from Lake Geneva, you can start your mornings with a nice stroll around the lake path, which goes on for about 60 miles. Walk right down the street to visit Yerkes Observatory, an astronomical observatory operated by the University of Chicago Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Just a half mile away, the downtown area of William’s Bay features restaurants and unique shops to browse through, while the town of Lake Geneva, also nearby, is a major hub for shopping, restaurants, and endless attractions. No matter the time of year, Williams Bay always has activities to partake in!
