This place is located right on the regular route of the Shimanami Kaido. If you don't want to cycle all the way to the next island for the day, it is conveniently located. Down the road towards Imabari, there are all the usual konbinis, the town is also not too far away.
The interior is modern and clean, the beds perhaps a bit simple, but they serve their purpose well. Toilets and showers were also clean. Check-in and check-out was super simple and convenient.
Unfortunately, I did not get a towel and since there is no staff on site, I also did not get one for the rest of the stay. There are towels, tho. I was just forgotten. Happens.
I was also a bit confused on where to leave my bike. Yes, you could bring it into your room. But that thought only works if you have a super lightweight and compact bike. Not a heavy city bike with electric assistance that you can rent for the route. There was some space outside, but it was all out in the open, unprotected and unmarked. Most of the space was actually a parking lot for cars, which is a bit confusing, considering it's a CYCLE Guesthouse.
The last nitpick I had was the lack of save storage for valuables. Luckily, we had a room to ourselves by pure chance. But not having a place where I could store my belongings safely was a bit inconvenient.

It’s the perfect place for a good night’s sleep where you’re not looking for any socialization. The rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable, with access to everything you need.
