The cottage is spacious with a beautiful view from the living room window. It's well equipped with enough crockery, cutlery, pans etc to cook for the family and there are high spec TVs in each room. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels and the beds were all comfortable. There was plenty of parking available. Communication from the owner was great.
The cottage is in need of renovation. The bathrooms specifically, including the floors as the downstairs bathroom's floor was very unsteady due to rot. The main upstairs shower had only one setting-scalding. The en suite shower room has no ventilation and no separate light switch, meaning the bedroom light has to stay on if the bathroom is in use.
It's in need of a deep clean throughout.
Only one wine glass in the otherwise well equipped kitchen.
Not at all accessible for physical disabilities. Walk to beach is a good 10-15 minutes due to very steep hill. If you take the cheeky shortcut, the lady WILL shout at you (fair enough really!).

The location was excellent, however it states a 5 minute walk to the beach and no way was it a 5 minute walk . I had to drive to the beach and definitely would not have made the walk up the steep hills in the heat wave at all .
The property wasn't very clean , no umbrella provided for the garden furniture as advertised, it needs alot of tlc including the outside decking as there were quite a few rotten and loose boards . If there was a zip line to the beach it may have been 5 minutes .
