This is an older home that needs some serious updating before I would consider staying here again! The reviews were a few months ago and I thought that it would be improved. It's not! There are only two bedrooms that are comfortable to sleep in. Both have comfortable king beds, but sheets on one had to be changed before it was slept in. The floor was swept and the dust pile was left for us to clean up. The den holds a king bed, but the room was barely warm despite the heater running all night long. The bathroom adjoining it doesn't have a vanity or sink in it. The shower water never got hotter than medium warm. The fourth "bedroom" is a converted garage where the garage door gaps and wouldn't close! No heat at all and the space gave me the heebie-jeebies! We stayed out of that part of the house. The front bathroom sink is tiny, the tub needs a good coat of enamel, and the water knobs are loose. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. A total redo would be my recommendation. The kitchen and living rooms show their age as well, despite all the cute decorating/furnishings. The coffee maker carafe isn’t the right size and the filter over-flowed. The front screen door won't latch and banged on the sill when it was windy. The back yard is deserted and trashy. Beer cans, old broken cell phones, and just yucky! Good luck with your renovations! The house has so much potential, but it’s just not ready to be a VRBO property.

Definitely not as advertised. One useable toilet in the house; the other one was not bolted down nor flushable. The bathtub constantly ran. Exterior doors were not secure. We got in late, walked through the house, and left to check in to a hotel. Much more work needed to measure up to VRBO standards - by far my worst experience with a VRBO property.

The location of the house is perfect for walking to the water park, splash pad, play ground and swimming beach on the river. The house itself is in disrepair. The owner appears to be in the process of remodeling but if you are squeamish about poor bathrooms, open electrical outlets, or walls/floors that are not finishes then this is not the rental for you until their repairs are finished. The main two bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The other two bedrooms are fine for kids to have their own space but most adults will not be happy with them. Overall I had a good time and the kids enjoyed themselves but the grand parents and my husband were not happy with the condition of the house.

The home is not suitable for guests. Cockroach was killed in bathroom. Bathtub had water running in it, not dripping, running enough to fill a gallon of water in about a minute. It could not be shut off. Bathtub was stained and looked gross. Toilet was not bolted to the floor and was wobbly. Kitchen counter had edge tiles missing making it a cut and scratch hazard. Also floor tiles broken. Dishwasher was not set in place properly. Our bed had only a fitted sheet on it with no mattress pad. It came off several times during the night. Broken oil bottle in the kitchen. I went to do laundry and the prior guests' bedding was in both the washing machine and the dryer. Could not figure out how the lights worked. One bedroom cannot be accessed but through another bedroom. It seems the garage was converted, quickly and poorly into 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet and a shower but no sink. The paint job looked like 12 year-olds painted it. It was just awful. Awful, awful awful. Keep looking, this is not rental ready.
