Rami ottimo padrone di casa ed insieme alla sua famiglia fanno sempre il possibile per far sentire accolti ed in famiglia gli ospiti, l'appartamento poi è molto accogliente e l'arredamento caratteristico, che unito ad una terrazza affacciata proprio sulle piramidi aiuta ancor più ad immergersi nella bella atmosfera egiziana: che sia per fare colazione oppure un pranzo, questi ultimi fatti in casa dalla famiglia di Rami
Purtroppo la zona vicino alle piramidi di Giza è quel che è, polverosa e caotica

Ich wurde am Flughafen mit einem Blumenstrauß abgeholt. Beim Ankommen dann der ganzen Familie namentlich vorgestellt und sofort mit Essen und Getränken versorgt. Man ist hier gefühlt sofort Teil der Familie. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf das Pyramidenpanorama ist nicht zu toppen. Das Zimmer war eher einfach aber sauber und mit allem Nötigen versehen. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen waren sehr schmackhaft, alles hausgemacht, besonders die von der Oma der Hauses wunderbaren Auberginen in Tomatensauce sind echt super. Der Hausherr (Rami) hat beste Kontakte und organisiert, je nach Wunsch, mit private driver und guide perfektes Eintauchen in die vergangenen Jahrtausende ägyptischer Geschichte. Der Besuch des GEM war der eigentliche Grund meiner Reise. Auch hier wurden meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Dass man in ein streng muslimisches Land gereist.ist, ist allgegenwärtig. Der Muezzin ruft mit sehr leistungsstarken Lautsprechern zu dem für Muslime verpflichtenden fünfmal-täglichen Gebet.
Wer Wert auf echte Gastfreundschaft und Einblick in eine andere Lebensumgebung legt, ist bei Rami und Familie bestens aufgehoben.

Liked everything about this place especially the man who runs it and his sister. A well-oiled machine. Everything was taken care of including my laundry. Fantastic view for 1/3 the cost of hotels closer to the Giza Pyramid exit door. Not sure if pyramids can be entered from East side.
Had to walk 5 flights of stairs but not a problem for me. Could be a problem for older adults or those who are disabled.

Hall d'immeuble sale, odeur des égouts dans la salle de bain.
Petit déjeuner avec peu de choix, pas de chocolat pour les enfants par exemple.
Si vous avez peur de tout, accepter de vous faire accompagner par le guide de la guest house sinon si vous êtes ouverts et aventureux n'hésitez pas à faire tout vous même (visite, taxi, marché, magasin, restos) vous serez libre de choisir votre programme et vous paierez moins cher en sachant bien négocier.
