Clean, pleasant rooms in a carefully repurposed part-Victorian part-c20th standalone building set slightly apart from the town centre among trees and grass. It’s not quite silent of an evening - there’s a main road not far away - but it’s as quiet as hotels usually get and I slept well. Good desk in my room, good provision of plugs for recharging inc USB-A. Within the body of the building there’s a nice open courtyard - fully enclosed and secure - and accessed from the far door of a communal kitchen, itself at the end of a main lower level lobby.
Wednesbury’s town centre is a delight for those of us who enjoy the community feel of slower paced parts of the West Midlands. Breakfast at Waldens on the Market Place is reasonably good: Cheerful staff there and critically they make a passable flat white!

Convenient for getting into Birmingham. Very clean and compact. Nice decor and well organised facilities.
It was so hot when we visited that the fan provided wasn't up to the job.

Although the hotel wasn't staffed, they were able to be contacted without any problem. Access information came through via email making it easy for us to get straight into our room when we arrived. When we entered the premises we were very impressed with the decor. There was a lovely notice welcoming us to the hotel in our room, which was a nice touch. The room and en suite were spotless. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend this venue.

Lovely room with everything you could need, including a fridge and microwave. The toiletries and cutlery were a lovely touch, and I especially appreciated the travel cup, which came in very handy when I was rushing to catch my train. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, making for a restful stay. It was also very quiet, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a really lovely stay!
