Pleasantly surprised
Inside was a lot better than expected as the outside made the place looked closed. Lovely room and bathroom. No food on the night but a pub over the road that serves food. Bar area nice and comfy. Staff were really nice.
The out look on to a roof that's had seen better days. And you can hear upstairs moving around.

‘Staff were friendly but not ideal if you are looking for any sort of cleanliness or service
Staff were friendly despite not getting requests addressed.
The carpet has stains and marks on, asked for clean towels daily as these were not brought to the room or replaced and the beds were not changed during the 7 day stay. Bins were not emptied, and had to be emptied by myself and put outside.

Find somewhere else
Large comfortable bed
Noisy unsound proofed rooms. TV didn’t work. Poor facilities. Awful shower.

Shame, was once a nice hotel but going downhill fast
The bed was comfortable enough
The bathroom was disgusting, black mould everywhere, including on the ceiling. Clearly had not been cleaned around the taps in a long time and smelled of stale smoke. Breakfast charged at £10 per head not worth it, English breakfast looked as though it had been left under heat lamps for too long and so seemed overcooked and lukewarm at the same time. The only item on the plate cooked fresh was the egg. The continental breakfast was sparse at best, 3 mini shop bought croissants under cling film and some small boxed cereals. Will NOT be staying again, avoid if you can

Low price but very poor quality
Nothing
Run down from the outside Tired and grubby hallways and stairs Bed was uncomfortable Shower above bath was barely tall enough to stand in Cobwebs around the room Staff watched an elderly lady try and carry her bag up a flight of stairs after not being given the ground floor room she booked (my partner carried her bag for her!)
