Located right in the historic center of Lucca, the apartment is on the first floor, so very easy to access compared to the previous one on the fourth floor also in Lucca.
The apartment is very well-organized, and clean. Everything you might need is available during your stay. You can see it is very well taken care of.
We were kindly supported to drop our luggage before the check-in time, and were also notified for the early check-in when the cleaning was done.
Andrea (the host) is kind and supportive. The cleaning lady we met that day is also very kind. And obviously she did a great job too. 😊
On weekends, it can be very noisy, as people talk very loud at the bar nearby, even when the window is closed. We wanted to open the window for some good wind to sleep in this hot summer, but that was impossible with the noise. But that’s the external factor, not the apartment itself.

The location of the flat was very central which was great for exploring Lucca. It was next door to some amazing restaurants and also right on the shopping street. However you wouldn’t be able to tell as you couldn’t hear any noise from outside which was amazing! The apartment was very clean and was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Hosts were very easy to contact and were able to help with any queries I had.
Only thing that could have improved the stay would have been AC, I know they are trying to get it. It was very warm in the flat and it did make it hard to sleep due to the temperature in the flat, the fans provided did help a little but the entire apartment was at 34oc the entire stay
