Gorgeous, quintessentially British. Stunning! Amazing location. Beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful little welcome pack too. We couldn’t have loved it more. The breakfast included at The Original Bakewell Pudding Shop was an absolute treat.

The only thing is the bathroom extractor fan as it’s incredibly noisy but honestly, it’s a minor point.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nook! The cottage was so cosy and charming - everything you dream a cottage in an English village would be! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen included all amenities for cooking. The lounge area downstairs was lovely, with comfy couches, a table and chairs and the gorgeous fireplace (although we did not need to use it). The bathroom was also large and modern. We appreciated the parking space for our rental (a short walk from the property) and the great location right in the heart of Bakewell, close to restaurants, cafes and shops. The included breakfast at the Bakewell Pudding Shop was very nice, as were the thoughtful gifts from the host. I would highly recommend the property.

The bedrooms are up a narrow staircase so we had to keep our luggage downstairs. People with mobility issues may find it challenging to get upstairs.

A beautiful, cosy cottage in the heart of Bakewell, offering everything we needed for a short stay. Very comfortable furnishings, great shower and very well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast in the Bakewell Pudding Shop was included and a real treat. Would definitely like to return.

There’s nowhere to unload your car apart from on the side of a very busy road. And the Car Parking provided with their accommodation is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which means you can’t really carry that many things to the house.
