Come visit one of the premier outdoor destinations in the Southwest! This two-bedroom condo was purchased and furnished (all furniture brand new) in 2021 and is a great home base for your Durango stay. This condo has 1 bedroom with an additional open loft bedroom and 2 bathrooms Our house is a clean, charming, personal, and welcoming home that makes its visitors feel like they are guests in a very special place. You will have the time of your life on this vacation in Durango! It is located just minutes from Mesa Verde National Park, Durango airport, and the town of Durango with the great restaurants, galleries, theaters, shopping, Durango Hot Springs, and Purgatory ski resort (45 min drive). Enjoy the wonderful walks and bike paths without getting in the car. Our condo has 1 master bedroom downstairs with a queen-sized bed with a private bathroom, upstairs there is a queen-sized bed with two inflatable mattresses for extra people. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs. The living room has a sitting area with a TV and wifi. The dining area and kitchen are adjacent to the living room. There is also a laundry room on the ground floor. Durango is a special place where winter and summer are welcomed with equal joy. The area offers terrific skiing in the winter and numerous outdoor activities in the summer. Guests can reach out to us at any time to let us know what they need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We are here to help! Great neighborhood located right next to Fort Lewis College and 5 minutes to downtown Durango. Complex parking is open and unassigned. A car is recommended for your stay as rideshares are hit or miss in Durango. The condo is located close (5 min drive) to downtown Durango & Fort Lewis College. Purgatory is outside of town and about 30 minutes from the condo. Please note that this unit has no central air conditioning/heating. There are baseboard heaters and ceiling fans. Pets are not allowed in the unit due to complex rules. The condo complex is built on stilts, and there are quite a few steps (approximately 40) that must be climbed to enter and exit the unit each time you come and go. The HOA does shovel and treat for snow but please consider packing smaller bags instead of large suitcases and booking another home if you or members of your party have difficulty climbing stairs. We regret that we cannot typically honor early check-in or late check-out requests due to same day checkouts or checkins. To ensure availability, please consider booking the night before or after your stay to allow you more time to relax before or after your flight. For stays longer than one week, toilet paper, shower supplies, and other "consumables" will be provided as a starter supply but will not be restocked during your stay.

My teenager and I stayed at this lovely place while visiting Fort Lewis College and Durango. The space was clean, quiet, and well equipped. Very cozy! It was within walking distance of the university and a short drive to downtown Durango. Very good communication. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to downtown. Easy check in/out process. Comfortable place to stay. There’s an absurd amount of stairs to get to the house. The fireplace is nonfunctional. The swimming pool and hot tub are not next to the house as the pictures lead you to believe.

Nice condo, the unit was clean and nicely furnished. The complex doesn’t really have green space. FYI, the loft bedroom is open to the living room below which would have been good to know. Great place to stay for active folks.

The smart lock was supposed to be activated at 4PM but was NOT. The VRBO app wasn't working so it took quite awhile to get the correct info to contact the property manager and have her actually set the entrance code. Other than that, things were good.

We had a very positive experience staying at this condo. It was in a quiet area and the location was very convenient. All of the photos and descriptions were accurate. The condo had all of the amenities we needed and we appreciated access to a washer and dryer. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus and were well maintained. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Well equipped condo in Durango. Convenient location and easy access to shopping and attractions. Condo is well equipped, clean and great for large family. All beds were comfortable and clean. The walkway from parking lot to the front door is long but besides bringing luggage was not an issue. Thanks for sharing your home!!!

We had a soccer tournament at Fort Lewis college fields, and this place was within 2 minutes of the fields, which was awesome. The rental was clean and comfortable, perfect for my wife and 2 daughters. If in town for another tournament, will definitely stay again.

We've stayed at a lot of VBROs over the years, and this was one of the better equipped ones. It has a nice lay-out with an upstairs loft-style bedroom open to the living room below via a half-wall, and a fully enclosed one downstairs. We enjoyed staying there. To get to the apartment, you have to climb a rather crazy set of outdoors stairs. This apartment is not for the mobility-impaired ones, but if you don't mind a small workout getting stuff from the car to the apartment, it's actually quite nice because you're on the back of the apartment building.

I gave 5 stars for every category except accuracy of online listing. The location is great, place is clean with plenty of bedding and towels. The living room/kitchen has a large table and two sofas. Very quiet and safe place. The host was quick to respond when I had a couple questions on arrival, and even let us check in early. The issue with accuracy of listing is because I think it's important for guests to know that there are lots of stairs and winding decks to get up to the rental. If my 80 year old mom had been with us there is no way she would've been able to access this place. It was ok for us, but definitely should be mentioned in the listing. Also, listing says one bed is king but both are queen. The beds were extremely comfortable, but again this might be an issue for some guests. Overall very happy with this place and would stay again.

This condo is located very close to downtown Durango where there is great vibe, shops and restaurants. It was only 30 mins to Purgatory which was amazing! The condo has everything you need, lots of towels, cooking supplies, beds where comfy and co.y. The only thing missing was a working fireplace. It would have been nice to be able to use the fireplace after a cold day of skiing. We would stay again for sure!
