Room was very nice. The location is EXCELLENT. Breakfast was standard hotel fair, but the foot was good.
My wife and I were very satisfied with the service, the room, the location, and the historical context.

Being in the heart of downtown. Once parked did not have to leave until we checked out as everything was walkable.
Only negative would be the stairs in the building we stayed in. Was a little tough with luggage.

The location is great, I appreciated the history of the place, and the staff is friendly.
The interior room I had (no window) was depressing. I thought I would tolerate it better than I did—but with no lights on it was pitch black. It was unpleasant to spend any time in it during the day. Also, at breakfast, tables did not get cleaned after use (I had to wipe down a tabletop two mornings) and it seemed like carpeted areas needed vacuuming more often. One other thing that really surprised me was streaming services were not available. The front desk told me I would have to use my own Netflix account. Since I did not have the credentials with me, I could only access network TV. I can’t remember the last place I stayed in when streaming services were not available.
