My wife and I had a great time during our winter getaway. We brought our dogs and the property was in a nice, quiet spot outside of Rehoboth. Host was fantastic. Would not hesitate to rent again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Broadkill Beach. The property was comfortable, clean, and had a ton of amenities. The host was flexible and attentive to her guest's requirements. I would definitely recommend this to friends and neighbors.

This was our family Christmas and hostess had the house decorate beautiful for the holiday. The house was fully stock and was close to the beach and we enjoy the weather on the porch for the holidays!! Great Stay!! Thank you!!!

We had a great winter weekend getaway! The house is beautiful and very clean.The kitchen was well stocked. We took advantage of the surprisingly warm weather to walk on the nearby beach, stargaze and have a fire in the fire pit. The deck was great and we were able to eat on the screened in porch.

This was a wonderful place to meet up with family for Thanksgiving. It's just steps away from the beach and a short drive to the nature preserve, which made for lots of wonderful walks. There were tons of things for our kids to do--they had a blast playing nonstop tetherball outside and video games in the basement. And having a fenced in yard for our small dogs was a huge plus. The kitchen was well stocked to make a Thanksgiving meal (although there were no coffee filters, which had us running to the store; make sure to pack your own!). Some of the days we were there it got quite cold, and the one thing we were really missing were some blankets--the house has only thin, summer-weight comforters on the beds--so definitely pack your own if you like to sleep with a blanket or have one while lounging on a couch. We would definitely go back to Manatee Manor again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manatee Manor and Lisa was easy to communicate with. The house was clean and spacious for our party of 3 adults and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed. Definitely a place for families with all the thoughtful additions. Loved the pictures and beach decor, and of course the manatees. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook breakfast and a few dinners in. The shower was roomy and had good water pressure. You might want to bring your own bath mat and a throw for watching tv on the couch. The outside fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs and the outside shower helped to rinse them off after a good swim in the ocean on a warm day. Tons of deck space both screened and unscreened, and a view of the bay from the master deck. The gas grill was put to good use during our stay. (Don't forget an outside water bowl for the pups if you plan to spend some time on the decks). We loved hearing the sound of crashing waves. We didn't really use the party room downstairs (it is not directly connected to the upstairs but is its own space). We did end up using the washer and dryer which was nice to have. Perfect location, just three homes from the dunes and Broadkill Beach. (The descent to the beach was be a bit of a challenge for my 80 yr old mother). Love, love, love the beach. So nice and quiet and empty and peaceful, just the way we like it and why we come on the off-season.

After changing jobs in June I needed to getaway and recharge the batteries. My wife recommended we try Broadkill Beach based on a referral we got from some people we met @ Dogfish Brewery - perfect choice. Lisa’s house was the first & only property we looked at when making our plans. Great beach house with lots of amenities a short walk to the beach. Very quiet and relaxing. Our dogs loved the daily walks on the beach. We’ll be back. Would highly recommend.

We've stayed at plenty of places in the past, and this house was by far the cleanest and most well stocked! Kitchenware, children's books, games, outdoor activities etc! We were very impressed. My family has young kids and this was the perfect place for a relaxing week. It was a very short walk to the secluded beach/bay. We loved Manatee Manor!

Great beach house a few steps from the dunes. Has everything needed for a quick getaway or weeks stay. Broadkill store is a must for breakfast or ice cream and is only a short walk or bike ride. Beach is quite and very relaxing with not many people (we went 4th of July week) big difference from the bigger beaches down the road. We will be back!

Beautifully decorated, great art work. Quiet neighborhood and the 15 year olds loved the private space downstairs. Great amenities and kitchen very well equipped for every need. The outdoor space had privacy with the mature pine trees. Would highly recommend!

Great beach house with lots of extra amenities for families to keep the kids busy! Nice location, great beach access- beach was awesome!, loved the screen porch little store and biking. Host was great and very communicative. Perfect for a family trip to beach!

Stayed here for a week after the kids got out of school. Super cute place. So many fun things to do in and outside the house. There is tetherball, outdoor firepit, basketball court, porch swing, horseshoe toss, and huge backyard connect four. Inside there are arcade games, pool table, board games, wood blocks/legos/magna tiles, books for grown ups and children, and even a manatee scavenger hunt within the property. The owner was very communicative. If there was an issue, she was quick to remedy it or initiate a solution. Well stocked kitchen, so many place settings, cups, glasses, utensils, cookware. Beach access was easy to find. The fenced in/pet friendly home is lovely, the owner is responsive and thoughtful, and all together it made our vacation go smooth. Good water pressure for all showers (sounds silly but it makes a big difference when trying to simply wind down at the end of the day or wash off sand at the outside shower). Thank you for opening your home to us and allowing us to live there for the week.
