We absolutely loved our stay at this beautifully converted old railway station. So much of the original character has been preserved – from old tickets to historic details and furnishings – which makes the place truly special. My husband is a huge railway fan, so seeing his face when we arrived was priceless!
We felt very comfortable here and loved the location. The surrounding Alentejo countryside is beautiful, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling along the old railway line, exploring nearby villages and enjoying great local food.
The host was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Communication was excellent – always quick, easy and helpful – and it was lovely to meet her in person during our stay.
A unique place full of history, charm and character. We would definitely recommend it and would happily come back!

A história que está por detrás do alojamento. É giro saber que estamos a dormir numa antiga estação de comboios.
Não ter ar condicionado nos quartos (têm ventoinha). É uma zona muito quente de Portugal. Pleno Agosto é complicado.

Beautiful reinvention of the train station space respecting its original elements.
Missing A/C. Room has small fan in the but that is definitely not enough for Alentejo summer temperatures. Breakfast dynamics seem clever and adequate to space ideal but simply not functional starting at 9am does not help …
