Jodi and Michael are excellent, seasoned hosts, and their B&B shows every marker of a place built on hospitality as it's guiding star. The grounds are wonderful, the hot tub was perfect, the entire building felt open and welcoming. Breakfast on the large back porch watching the hummingbirds, jays, and wild turkeys go by is a treat.
The mattress in Golden Oaks was pretty hard. I, personally, found it hard to sleep on. If you don't like a firm mattress you may want to ask if another room might be a better fit. Every single other thing about this place was perfection, zero complaints.
