Location, facilities
I booked based on the exact location and photos on booking, but when we arrived my friend took the exact location and the one in charge sent me another location for the appartment 7 min walking, she said the message I recieved indiated that the location on booking is a meeting point. The Appartment was the same facilities as indicated in the photos but not the one on booking. So it has to be clear on booking that there are several locations for this booking as the one in charge mentioned, even if it is the same area so it will not be confusing.

Very nice apartment in good location. Pretty close to walk of fame and very quiet, no weird people in the area. Also the parking spot was nice and wide, really nice to have private parking. For me the apartment was a surprise, I would recommend it and I would stay there again if I am in LA.
The checkin experience was horrible, at least for a non-US resident. Checkin instructions were not sent although people talking on the phone with me pretended they did...in the end it turned out to be a misunderstanding and I managed to checkin, but it took around 1,5 hours to do so. I highly recommend that the checkin procedure is improved for future guests, since this bad experience at the start can ruin people's view on the property which is very nice. No complaints whatsoever other than that!

I liked how close it was to Universal Studios. It is in a convenient location to many grocery stores and restaurants.
Finding the key seemed a little complicated in writing but once we arrived it was an easy process. When we got inside is when things got weird...There is a notice on the door stating it was an illegal short term rental advising us to ask for a refund and stay somewhere else. Then theres a notice stating if the police come, we have every right to be there per code "xyz" to be welcomed by this was very off putting. Theres a photo of the owner in the lobby saying shes scamming people. The apartment didnt get any cooler than 73, we asked for a fan and it seemed to be a big inconveniencefor the host. Bath tub had a big cardboard sign laying in it saying "OUT OF ORDER." Photos shown in listing make it seem much larger than it is. Kitchen is not updated as shown in photos, couches are not as big, rooms are not as big. Internet only worked a little bit the first 2 days, then the last night it didnt work at all, text the owner regarding it early in the day and received no response. it was Just a fraudulent very misleading listing in my opinion. When I addressed issues with owner there was no hospitality given but they did eventually bring a fan. We stayed for 3 days but we're given 1 towel each so we went and bought our own towels. I offered to wash the ones there but was informed "I didnt pay for that." We were given 3 or 4 different numbers to contact regarding our stay.Traveling with children and being met with all of these uncertainties and headaches and signs all over the door took away from our vacation. When i asked for a refund, booking.com stated they "havent heard back from the owner, sorry" Just a headache. STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
