Great location, great amenities with Balcony
I wish we knew that the location was in a pedestrian only zone. We had to carry our luggage from the car parking lot to the property about 10 minutes walk.

We had a wonderful stay at Pension Faber. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Český Krumlov's old town and within walking distance of everything. Our room was spacious, and we felt genuinely welcomed with thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, coffee, and tea.
Although the pension is self-service, everything was well organised and easy. We also chose to have breakfast at their nearby restaurant, and it was excellent. The buffet offered a great selection, including plenty of gluten-free options, and we especially appreciated the homemade traditional gluten-free cake.
The room doesn't have air conditioning, which is common in many historic buildings in Czechia. We stayed during a heatwave, but thanks to the high ceilings and keeping the windows open at night and closed during the day, the room remained comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.
The warm hospitality, thoughtful details, and fantastic location made this one of our favourite stays. We would happily return.
Air conditioning. Looking ahead, with summers becoming hotter due to climate change, installing air conditioning would make an already excellent stay even better.

We had room n.1 and it was very spacious.
Our room was by the street and during the night mini vans would pass every ~30min (I guess to unload goods for the restaurants/shops?) and it was very noisy. There’s no airco and you can’t open the windows as it’s noisy.
There is no person from the guesthouse present at the property except of the cleaning lady which is very kind.
