Ohana is a new multi-apartment complex, on the shores of the beautiful Clyde River, Bateman's Bay N.S.W.
My wife and I have stayed there before (in the same magnificent apartment, three years ago) and we looked forward to another relaxing stay there.
We feel that the owners of this beautiful Bateman's Bay, NSW property, Ohana, (where we have stayed once before), need to know that their subsidiary agent, 'MadeComfy' have, over our five day stay, demonstrated appalling communication with us.
Day #1: It was a minor issue, about a missing re-chargeable cable for the apartment's TV remote, which we reported to MadeComfy via email on our first day's stay. The large smart TV kept flashing on and off messages, which said the re-chargeable remote needed charging because it was "extremely low". We had no response from MadeComfy at all.
Day #2 we sent another message (via the MadeComfy portal). No reply.
Day #3 we phoned MadeComfy on 02 8311 6800. The female customer service person was unaware of our previous messages and promised to sort out the problem. Nothing !!
Day #4 We received a call from a male from MadeComfy, at mid-day. He promised to organise someone who would deliver us a replacement charging cable that afternoon. Nothing!! Much later that night, we received a phone call from MadeComfy in India, wanting to know what the issue was.
Day #5 we checked out of the beautiful apartment at Ohana, Bateman's Bay ... and nothing had been done by MadeComfy ALL week. So much for their claim .... "we are here for you 24/7".
We can only wonder what may have been MadeComfy's response to a more serious issue (lost keys? broken fridge?)
Ohana, Apartment owners ... sack MadeComfy.
They have an appalling business model and in our case, their customer service was NIL.

Fantastic location. Great modern decor and facilities. Pool was lovely. Very quiet apartment block except for the road noise but the bedroom was at the back and the glass doors blocked all the noise.
The shower was very dirty and covered in mould. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in months. Because we were staying for 9 nights I went out and purchased some bleach and a scrubber and cleaned it myself and it came up amazingly.
I also found the dishwasher hard to open and the microwave was hard to use and also wasn’t working properly so we switched it off and rebooted it.

The room was comfortable, and excellent self-contained facilities provided. This room would be excellent for an extended stay with everything provided to prepare and cook meals. Close to the town centre and marina, and great views over the estuary.
The traffic noise was a bit overwhelming. However, the premise is located on the main beach road so to be expected. Windows and doors double-glazed and there noise greatly reduced when closed.
