My two friends and I stayed here for a city break, and it was absolutely perfect.
Our host, Magda, was incredibly sweet and welcoming right from the start. We arrived very early in the morning, and she kindly kept our luggage until the apartment was ready, even moving the bags inside for us later so we could start exploring the city right away.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a beautiful, traditional Tuscan building right on the banks of the Arno River. The location could not be better—it is just a 2-minute walk from the stunning Santa Maria della Spina church, and a leisurely 10-15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower and the Botanical Garden.
Inside, the apartment is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. As someone who prefers a firm mattress, I found the bed excellent for my back, ensuring a great night's sleep.
Magda provided us with all the necessary local information and left an abundance of coffee pods, a great tea selection, and complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. They even provided umbrellas for guests to borrow in case of rain. This extraordinary attention to detail and outstanding hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend it!

The owner of the house is impeccable and made us feel like we were at home. Always present, punctual and kind. Her kindness and help was essential to solve even unexpected dynamics that we had to face such as that of the cancellation of the flight.

We had a wonderful stay in Sonnino House. Magda was a fabulous host. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It boasts a fantastic location with beautiful views over the river. Map of Pisa and restaurant recommendations were also provided
