The Neighborhood: You'll be a short stroll to a plethora of restaurants and bars, gardens and parks here in the Bywater. From The Country Club (highly acclaimed restaurant with a pool & hot tub) to Elizabeth’s (down-to-earth local breakfast & brunch restaurant popular for their praline bacon and loaded bloody Marys) and Bywater Bakery (funky cafe known for their mouth-watering baked goods and live music). One local favorite that is famous for its frequent live music nights and delectable wine and cheese selection is Bacchanal. You’re only a ~7 min drive or bike ride to the bustling French Quarter. Or you can walk ~25 min along the Mississippi river for a good portion of the way to the French Quarter Market, welcoming you with food, apparel, and goods to take home. From there, take a walk down Frenchman street... just follow your ears to live jazz, brass bands, and so much more! Getting Around: This neighborhood is highly walkable, and there is a Blue Bike station one block away to rent bicycles. It is only a 25-minute walk, or 5-8 minute Uber/drive, or bike ride to the French Quarter. Great stay, great property, great location.

The house was very nice as described online. It was clean and comfortable would stay there again. The only issue was the water pressure in the shower is very low and some of the bulbs in the living room were out. Kitchen was nice and well equipped we enjoyed a smoothy every morning. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels. Safe neighborhood with small restaurants in every corner and walking distance.
