Camp Bay Lodge is a gorgeous oasis in the east end of Roatan, the perfect place to decompress from your busy life at home, facilitated by a team of simpatico employees who make everything feel easy and carefree. I loved my studio room, the quiet and tranquility of the property, and swims in the ocean. From the Lodge, I took walks in the area to explore the nearby village and the amazing Port Royal National Park. The homecooked food in the Lodge's restaurant kept me energized, and a cast of interesting guests kept me entertained. This place is the antithesis of the West End of Roatan, and is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Thanks to everyone at Camp Bay Lodge for a stellar stay.

The area is nice with palm trees.
The corner room Areca was nice.
Bugs repellent is a must.
The restaurant is good!
The included breakfast is a plus!
The beach and the ocean is nice but not good for snorkelling, there is no fish. Maybe if you take a boat tour!
You absolutely need a car if you want to do activities and shopping.

We liked the wilderness setting and tranquility. We did not like the stray dogs that loiter the premises. I was bitten by one of them without being provoked.
