We had a lovely stay for a week at this property in early August. The facilities were excellent with very comfortable accommodation and the outside space was generous with good levels of shade and a lovely pool and garden.
We had incredible support from the wonderful Valya, who looked after us and even rescued us from a lock out on our first night – and thanks also to very helpful neighbours. Valya even provided a taxi service for us one night when we were struggling to get into and out of Chania.
This is a lovely property, well appointed, with friendly local people, who even came over with some gifts one evening. We would recommend. Thank you Valya.

The villa and pool were lovely and spotlessly clean. The house was well-stocked and the host kindly left us a snack for our arrival and brought us ice creams during our stay. Any minor issues were dealt with very quickly. The neighbourhood looks a little run down (it’s semi-rural suburbs) but is very quiet and neighbours are friendly. You do need a car but it’s easy to get into Chania and explore the island. We would definitely go back.
The TV was positioned in front of the dining table, so we moved the table and the sofas so we could watch the World Cup football in comfort! We moved it back but would suggest a permanent swap as we ate at the outside table all the time anyway.

It's a very lovely and updated house. The Air conditioning worked well and it had everything you would need inside.
Unfortunately, we came during a very hot spell but were unable to use the pool. There were many wasps coming in and out of the pool as well as birds dive bombing the pool every 30 seconds. We just weren't comfortable using it. The space is also smaller than it appears in the pictures. We weren't prepared for the realities of the house being out in the country and not more city based.
Additionally, the check in instructions were very unclear. The app and the person I spoke with informed me that the host would be on site to welcome us. When we arrived right on time, there was no one around. On the phone to Be on Holidays we were again told someone would meet us. We ended up finding the key that we assumed was left for us and were able to access the house. There was never communication on the fact that a key would be left so we were standing around in the afternoon sun for around 20 minutes before figuring it out.
Our stay at the villa came at a time where we had been travelling for 3 weeks and had reached the end of our tether. In other circumstances I'm sure we would have loved the house.
