El sitio es precioso; una casa señorial reformada con mucho gusto, todos muy cómodo y con una atención espectacular, pendientes de que la estancia sea lo más agradable posible. Situado a 20 metros de la plaza mayor.

An interesting old building situated in a quiet side street a short walk from the city centre. It is well decorated and maintained. Shower good, towels plentiful. Bed comfortable. We had breakfast which we thought was good value and varied in content.
The standard rooms are fairly small and do not offer seating for two. There was much less public space than we had anticipated from a 4 star establishment; as the only guests at the time, we were able to use the only two armchairs in the lobby/ internal patio . Had the hotel been busier that would probably not have been an option. Much of the social space is outdoors, patio and pool: La Mancha is cold in January, so not a viable option for us. And we did have to push, to be able to leave luggage for some time on the day of departure. Surely that’s a standard feature in a 4 star hotel?
