Hotel staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant was only open from 2030 in the evening for dinner, and breakfast didnt start until 0800 in the morning , which was a little inconvenient for us as we needed to leave at approx 0800. The bar next door to the hotel, which apparently was part of the hotel was really good. The staff were very friendly and drinks were priced very well, with tapas given with each drink.
The only disappointment for us was the bathroom. It was very clean, but eh shower needs renewing, and it was falling to pieces, ie the shower had to be held to use it, as the holder on the wall kept falling off, and the cubicle all needs replacing.

Quite dated but exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly. Loved the bar area- great prices, great service.
Axon was noisy but efficient.

The hotel was just off the motorway so a good location for a pit stop overnight.
The cafe and restaurant were both closed on a Tuesday so there was nowhere to get food or a drink. The village is close bit only one bar was open and a couple of little shops.
My room was very basic and I was a but cold due to insufficient covers.
