Perfect location, even though the building was probably completely gutted and rebuilt you’re still in an old convent steps from the cathedral. Was a little hesitant to go to the attached restaurant thinking it would be overpriced but it was one of the best choices
Too bad they spent so much on the remodel and skimped on sound insulation between rooms. Also if you stay in the beautiful corner room with two balconies bring some twine to tie open the exterior doors and be prepared to drag furniture to block open the interior balcony doors as the wind whips through Cuenca due to its geography and you can’t open both sides even for seconds without them crashing shut.

Location was good for Cathedral and Abstract Art museum.
We had to move from first room because the bins were outside the window and the lift shaft was directly beside the wall , sort from the noise of the lift we could hear people talking in it. The second attic room was better but the following morning the bathroom was full of a strong noxious chemical smell that felt dangerous to breathe.
