TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK

Quiet location but walking distance from the centre of Shibuya. Top floor pool facing park is a must . The staff made it special too. Must mention Lucy (not sure if that’s the right spelling )and George as they were particularly attentive

Our standard room was a bit small but design and furniture was beautiful . The price is on the high side but you certainly get quality in return

We LOVED this hotel. The pool, the breakfast, the Italian restaurant downstairs. Small amenities for turndown service. Easily walkable even with kids to Shibuya attractions (Super Donki!). Good selection of restaurants near by and the park gives a calming atmosphere and a place to go jogging.

The restaurant was amazing. Food, staff, incredible. The rooms were clean, comfortable and so well serviced. The pool divine.

The check-in staff at the desk could have been more helpful and seemed to not have a good system for sharing information to the team. Before our arrival, there were a few things like flight info for an airport transport, request to extend our check out, restaurant reservations that I emailed information and were then dropped or answered but then asked again by another person or needed to be answered again. Upon checkout the person checking me out struggled with how to add items used from the minibar to my bill and I was asked to wait 15 minutes with a car to the airport waiting on the street while they tried to sort it out. Eventually someone else came out from the back room to help after the two original people struggled to figure it and said I could go, that they would figure it out later. This was one small thing in an otherwise wonderful stay. Also there is some street noise at night, but otherwise I would recommend highly.

The room is very modern and really well designed. The reception staff were great and very helpful (over WhatsApp as well which is handy). The location is phenomenal, full of cool coffee shops, shops and restaurants just down the road.

The restaurant staff are hopeless unfortunately - they'd bring food at a dinner table for two an hour late for one party, and the other would have finished eating. It happened more than once, and we simply stopped going to both breakfast and dinner there.
