This unit was a similar price to those in Dolphin Quay which are far better quality & location.

Location was convient to the beach, about 10 minutes pleasant walk to the marina & and easy cycle into the marina area then continued along the cycle paths. We stayed in unit 8 at the very back of the complex & was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. There was plenty of dishes, utensils & cooking pans. The enclosed courtyard was good for storing our push bikes. The unit was clean. There was a good sized smart TV. The internet was excellent.

BEDROOMS - There was no extra bedding if you were cold. We took a doona from one of the other beds in the unit which wouldn't be possible if more than 2 people were staying. This unit is set up to sleep 6. The bedside lamp was a touch lamp which didn't turn off unless you unplugged it. There was 1 very small clothes hanging rail with no other clothes storage, not near enough for more than 2 people. We slept in the loft area to have more space for our luggage. The only mirror was on the wall in the bathroom. The furniture was miss matched with only 1 bedside table & and old computer desk in the loft area. Downstairs was a bed & a small shelf unit. BATHROOM - There is a spa bath below the shower in a very poor state. It has been painted & is cracked & peeling. We did try it so can't comment on its performance. The mirror is in need of replacement. The exhaust fan needs cleaning. KITCHEN - we couldn't get the oven/grill to work. All the markings have worn off so there was no way of knowing how to choose oven, grill or temperature. The drawer knobs come off when opening the drawers. There was very cheap coffee sachets along with a few sugar, no tea bags. No condiments are provided. Usually would expect salt, pepper & cooking oil as a basic. LOUNGE - The lounge chairs were comfortable but worn with 3 very sad scatter cushions. The only lighting in the area were 2 wall lights, 1 didn't work & the other worked intermittently. The vertical blinds had no wand to open them. Had to slide them closed by hand along the windows. The furniture in this area is cheap & miss matched. The air-conditioner/heater is an extremely old wall unit that was popular 30+ years ago. It came into the room from outside above the lounge chair. It was so noisy you couldn't run it & watch TV & you certainly couldn't sleep with it on. It wouldn't be sufficient to cool the whole unit in summer.

My granddaughters loved the pool and spa, and the spar in our villa.

Lack of any hanging space for clothing, lack of any hanging rails for towels in bathroom. And we had many cockroaches.
