Saikani Beach Resort & Restaurant

I stayed at this property near Radiance / Eden Beach during my Pondicherry trip, and overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The biggest advantage of this place is its location — the beach is extremely close and easily accessible by a short walk, which made early morning and evening beach visits very convenient. The room had all the basic essentials well maintained: air conditioning, lights, door locks, geyser, and overall cleanliness were satisfactory. Nothing major required follow-up or repeated requests, which is always appreciated during a short stay. I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Prabhakar and Mr. Augustine. Mr. Prabhakar was very knowledgeable and guided us well regarding nearby places and local sightseeing, which genuinely helped us plan better. Mr. Augustine was extremely kind and supportive — even when we returned late at night, he ensured the gate was opened and welcomed us without any hesitation. We liked the stay so much that we extended our booking for an additional day, even though it was unplanned. Since rooms were available, the extension process was smooth and hassle-free. A few areas where the experience could be improved: • Basic washroom amenities such as soap, toothpaste, etc., were not available and had to be managed personally. • The property offers additional services like scuba/diving activities, but availability and pricing should be communicated more clearly and, if possible, made more visitor-friendly. • The seating area is good, but the food menu and quality could be improved to enhance the overall in-house experience. While things could be a bit more organized, the location near the beach, cooperative staff, and overall comfort made the stay worth it. I would recommend this place to travelers looking for a peaceful, beachside stay with supportive staff, especially if location is a priority.

Mentioned Above

Location was awesome. Its at walkable distance from Eden beach. You will get dedicated parking space.

Food will be a problem. Especially if you are vegetarian. There are no good options around there and in resort as well.

Staffs are very friendly and all foods are home made and tasty.
