The house Hortense is located in the Sables Blancs district, one of the most sought-after areas of Concarneau. Just 300 metres from the popular Sables Blancs beach, 200 metres from the greenway and numerous hiking trails, and only 400 metres from the thalassotherapy centre, it is an ideal location for a family or friends’ holiday.



Simple and elegant, “Hortense” is a refined and functional house. It features an entrance leading to a bright living area with a large dining table and a lounge with TV and Wi-Fi, perfect for enjoying quality time with family or friends.



The practical kitchen, equipped with a filter coffee maker, provides direct access to the garden. Facing west, the garden allows you to enjoy the Breton sunshine, making it a lovely place to relax after a day full of discoveries.



A secure access leads to a large basement where you can store your provisions and equipment (bicycles, scooters, kayaks, etc.). A washing machine is also available there during your stay.



On the ground floor, there is a bedroom, a separate toilet and a shower room.



The first floor consists of a bathroom and three spacious bedrooms, one of which offers a lovely glimpse of the ocean.



The property has access for one vehicle to be parked. In addition, plenty of parking spaces are available nearby. Please note that there are a few steps leading to the entrance door of the accommodation.

The accommodation is also suitable for families travelling with a baby. Two travel cots with mattresses and a high chair are available free of charge upon request at the time of booking. To ensure everything is ready for your arrival, these items can be set up in the accommodation before you arrive.

The Sables Blancs district



“Hortense” is located in the heart of the Sables Blancs district, a highly sought-after area among Concarneau residents thanks to its proximity to the corniche and its beautiful beaches.



During your stay, you will be just a few steps from the thalassotherapy centre, the local bars and restaurants, and only a 5-minute walk from shops where you can buy bread and newspapers.



The area is peaceful and quiet and also features a 1.5-hectare park with a playground, sports facilities and pétanque courts.



Sables Blancs beach, just a 2-minute walk from the house, is the perfect family beach. Its nautical centre offers paddleboards, kayaks, catamarans, windsurfing boards, dinghies and more for hire.



“Hortense” is located 200 metres from the “voie verte”, which starts at Sables Blancs and leads directly to the centre of Concarneau. It is a former railway line running through Concarneau, now fully converted into a pedestrian, tree-lined and shaded path.
