The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable.
Our room was located on the ground floor of a busy road and the blinds let in street lighting. This may be a problem if people like complete darkness and silence.

The Hop Merchant's House is just around the corner from Worcester Foregate Railway Station for those travelling by public transport and there is car parking close by for those who drive to Worcester. Our room was very spacious, easily big enough for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything that you could need. There is a roof terrace but the rain kept on falling and so we didn't use it, though I did go and look at it and I can see us using it in nicer weather. There is a small oven in the kitchen as well as coffee machine and kettle and fridge. It's just a short walk from the pubs, bars and restaurants in Worcester so it's in an almost ideal location.
The chairs go with the table and kitchen in the room so they aren't ideal for lying back though they are comfortable, at least for a two night stay.
