Such a beautiful cottage in wonderful surroundings! We loved being able to park right outside and the cottage exceeded our expectations with its charming, comfortable interior. It was great to be so close to Richmond and all the amenities we needed, but still in a peaceful haven in the countryside. Even the track leading up to it through a field full of cows and calves just added to the feeling of 'getting away from it all'. We really enjoyed the walks from our doorstep, with plenty to choose from in a thoughtful guide left by Stephen and Naomi. We did have a thermostat issue which they came to sort out for us, but it sounded like a one off caused by a recent storm. A lovely couple, very friendly!
The beds and seating area was very comfortable, and we loved the dining area with wraparound windows.
Definitely worth a visit!
Not a dislike as such, but for us a welcome to accommodation usually includes a personal touch like biscuits and milk being provided.
The shower pressure is very low, so don't expect a power shower.
