Comfortable bed and sufficient space in rooms. Check in process smooth with 24/7 support, kind staff. Great location. Cool temperature and clean in the bedrooms.
Bathrooms didn't have anywhere to put your belongings in the cubical. No proper kitchen facilities which isn't the end of the world somewhere like rome where you're likely eating out at most meals.

The property is in an ideal location in Trastevere and very close to public transport .
It has a lot of character and the staff are fabulous.
The facilities weren’t great: Door handles came off the bathroom door and the shower water came out one drop at a time. Staff were sympathetic but they didn’t fix the problem , though they moved us to another room.

Borgo Ripa is in a very "in" and lively area of Rome, which I very much enjoyed. The direct surrounding and the design of the Hostel is beautiful. The staff was always ready to help and there was free cold water, which was important in the midst of Summer. Also, the high ceilings of my room was a highlight.
I was not able to get a lock for my locker, they apparently where out of stock. I was a bit on edge because I needed to leave my luggage unattended for some hours, but luckily noone took anything from me.

It’s in a great spot!
You have to pay for towels (5 euro). There was a venue next door that was incredibly loud each next. Bathrooms weren’t that clean and the lights and water went off every 10 seconds so you had to keep manually turning them back on. Not a social place at all.
