Location was close to all the major attractions & yet far enough to escape the hustle & bustle noise of town, the tree house was modern, comfortable & clean.I loved the outdoor bathroom especially the tree shower! It Rox!😃
The fact that just over the fence was the local marae was a bonus.. Waking to the resident Tui's singing in the morning really was a treat, actually listening to them all day was the real treat which reminded me of my childhood sooo comforting.Heaven having fresh eggs from the onsite chicken pen & a fat cat came for a few visits & a pat🤣.We had everything we needed there & we were lucky to pretty much have the whole area to ourselves for most of our stay..
The staff we did meet were helpful & the hosts (Joss & Wayne)were in our resident country for the footy so we didn't have the pleasure of meeting them but they were always available to contact if needed🙂
We would definitely go back again..No Wait..
We ARE going back again in the very near future..
Nga Mihi guys great memories at the
"Awa Tiny Treehouse"💯👌
Can't really complain about anything except maybe..
That Heater..We found it rather problematic & in a strange position but we were both visiting from Australia & had our hot water bottles as back up with us so we just fine really..

Beautiful hosts, a super cute and cuddly cat, a really cuddly dog and of course such a nice place to stay! I loved the cozy loft bed as well as the outdoor shower and baths.
Our lovely hosts are amazing communicators and you can see they put so much love into taking care of their guests!

This was one of the best of places.
Very beautiful location , room was beautifully decorated, the tub and shower were the best and a surprise decor that I loved.
The hosts were amazing, they were kind and friendly .
My father was visiting NZ for first time and the host kindly talked about NZ, history and culture , and were very welcoming. Which made his trip even better.
Thats one thing he keep in list of good memories about his NZ trip amongst other :) .
I will definitely visit again.

The owners were pleasant & welcoming
I don’t think it represents good value for money.
There is no separate sink to clean teeth/shave.
The loft bed was not an option for us because of our ages
