Lovely little dorma bungalow in a very quiet cul de sac. Near the centre and beach. Clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice, secure back garden for the dog.
The boiler needs updating. Hoped to use the bath, but the water never got hot then stopped heating completely. The electric shower was awful. Shame because it's a lovely little holiday home.

I've written this review over both positive and negative as it doesn't allow enough characters in one box.
On entering the property it smelled very fresh and looked to be clean. Towels for each guest along with toiletries and basic cleaning products were provided which is a nice touch. Located next to the beach and very short walk away from the village.After only been in the property for half an hour my 9 month old baby was black with muck from crawling around and I don't mean just a bit I mean black. His little shorts were very badly soiled along with his hands, legs and feet. Our feet and socks were also black with muck, its was at this point it became clear that the floor had obviously not been mopped. The rug in the lounge, sofas and cushions were covered in dog hair and clearly hadn't been hoovered. And while I'm on the subject of cleanliness, a feather duster wouldn't go a miss. Light shades covered in cobwebs and most walls.
I had requested a cot for my baby when booking the stay. A few weeks prior to our trip I messaged the person in charge via booking.com to ask what type of cot it was and if I needed to provide bedding for it myself. I was told it was a travel cot and that bedding would be provided.
I was expecting this to be made up with bedding on arrival like the other beds, however it wasn't but it was no problem I can easily do that myself. When we unpacked the travel cot and set it up we discovered it was covered in stains all around the top, on the mesh sides and the mattress. These stains looked like they had been there a long time. It also had a large tear in one of the sides.
We decided to contact the property owner and query it. After trying all three phone numbers provided we finally got a response. We told them the issue and they said that it must have been from the previous people who stayed and that the cleaner must not have checked.
was staying there (because they weren't sure if they had a booking) and ask if we could have the cot from that property. We did, but that cot wasn't much better. We shouldn't have had to go and seek another cot this should have been done by the owner. Equipment should be checked after each guest checks out.
At the end of our stay I received an email asking me to leave a review to help their "property grow" so I have.
My advice to the owners is this - if you want your property to grow, make sure it's cleaned correctly and that you are checking for maintenance regularly. Also you should be going above and beyond for your guests, not expecting your guests to do the leg work. You also need to be more aware of your bookings.
