It’s really comfortable, spacious, furniture and beds are comfy and the sheets were clean. Really close access to the beach and Chapel and in a really quiet area. Decent wifi and amenities, cute little enclosed garden, two toilets and bath & shower. We have a family caravan in trunch lane that other family were in and they remarked how comfortable and nice the lay out is when visiting to come get us.
I can see I’m not the only one who complained about the poor cleaning quality. I thought I’d check before submitting a review and I’m hoping this is constructive considering a lot of the same problems seem to be this year.
We took our shoes off instantly, found there to be hairs and dirt over the bathroom and dirt stains on the floor, once I cleaned the bath for my child, within 15 minutes of running around, his feet were black. The host did respond but I still spent my own time and money cleaning the floor to a decent standard as the cleaning cupboard was a mess. At just shy of £700, that’s unacceptable. The floor had not been cleaned in some time if at all, there was dirt, dog hair everywhere. I did ask for a number to send photos but never got one. There is also a smell of dog that’s not been hidden well, probably because it’s not being cleaned properly.
If the owner is paying for a service, they’re really being let down by their team as it’s a really lovely little cottage, if I pay premium price, I expect a premium product.

Good location near the sea and near the shops. Goos size rooms. Good back garden. Pathway at rear to the beach.
We arrived to find the double bed had been slept in. Used towels on ensuite shower room floor which indicates the house wasn't cleaned before we arrived. There's a couple of items in kitchen that need replacing the kettle and measuring jug was stained badly. I left messages for owner on booking.com but had no response. Tried to contact booking.com also no response. It seems all messages are automated. I'm still tyring to find a way of contacting them.
