Located on "the Quiet Side" of the Door County peninsula, the Door County Beach House is nestled on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, within walking distance of Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point County Park. Walk to Glidden Lodge to dine overlooking the lake or enjoy a fish boil, burger or cold brew at The Hitching Post.
This year-round lake front home boasts a newly renovated first floor with spectacular views of the bay from upper and lower decks. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has plenty of room for your family of six with a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and living area with gas fireplace and a first floor master bedroom and bath. The second floor offers two additional bedrooms, a full bath and loft with room to spread out.
The large deck includes a gas frill, deck furniture and umbrella. Beach chairs are calling you to relax by the water's edge. Bring your own beach towels. A cooler, two kayaks, life jackets, an outdoor shower to hose off and 4 adult bicycles are available for guest use. And, if you need to check in, you're welcome to use the PC monitors and printer.

The house is exceptionally appointed with everything one could need, especially the kitchen. A peaceful spot on Whitefish Bay, so quiet, with a wonderfully wide sandy beach to wander on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
