Featuring a cosy living area with wide bright windows – a nice awakening in the morning as you make yourself a toasty coffee in the flint blue kitchen, relaxing over the wooden dining table as you plan your day's adventures – this home screams sleek down to a tee. Perhaps go downstairs to the lush green garden for some fresh air before returning inside to get ready for a day of golfing in the homely bedrooms. Perfectly located between the beach and the golf club, with only a seven-minute walk to Gullane Golf Club, one of Scotland's most prestigious member clubs, blending the finest tradition with some of the world's most admired natural links lands – so go grab your golf club!
Gullane Beach has golden silky smooth sand to walk along while listening to the waves crash against the shore and enjoying a picnic. If you want to go a little further, take a forty-five-minute drive into Edinburgh for a day of sightseeing at Edinburgh Castle, wandering the cobbled streets of the Old Town, and stopping for a bite to eat at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant.
Coastal golf courses, fishing villages and castles galore; East Lothian may be just down the road from buzzing Edinburgh, but it’s got a distinctly rural feel. North Berwick sits on the coast and is a pretty town of colourful fishing cottages, a sweep of beach and fab seafood restaurants (try the lobster shack on the harbour). If you want to stretch your legs, head up the steep incline of Berwick Law where two whalebones frame the stunning sea views. John Muir, founder of the first National Park, was from Dunbar and a meandering national walking route – the John Muir Way – weaves across coast and country, beginning at his birth town. If history is your bag you won’t be disappointed by the ruins of Dirlton and Hailes Castle, or Tantallon Castle perched dramatically on the cliffside.

We had an amazing stay in Gullane and Katy's place was perfect for our 4-guy golf trip. The location is perfect and convenient to a great small store, restaurants, and golf. We didn't have to use our car in town. We felt very welcome staying in this amazing home.

The photos do not do justice to this very attractive apartment ! Really lovely touches and an amazing welcome pack . The host Katy is extremely helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The location and property were perfect for our golf vacation with 6 adults. The property was exactly as described and the host could not have been more helpful. All communication was answered immediately and very detailed. The host stocked the refrigerator with all we needed to be welcomed. There were absolutely no issues at all. The location was walking distance to several restaurants, pubs and golf courses. It could not have gone better. I am ready to go back.
